Commemoration of the town’s founding anniversary and the feast day of Nuestra Señora Virgen del Mar Cautiva.

DAING FESTIVAL

A thanksgiving celebration for the bountiful harvest in the sea attributed to Nuestra Señora Virgin del Mar Cautiva, the Virgen Captive of the Sea that even during the lean months the fisherfolks have enough stock of fish processed through sun drying or pagdadaing. Street dancing competition and other related activities are held every year. Every April 20 yearly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SANGLAD FESTIVAL

To enliven the landing of Nuestra Señora Virgen del Mar Cautiva in the coastal shores of Sitio Baracca, Barangay Poblacion, Santo Tomas, La Union. A thanksgiving mass and fluvial procession are held every July 19 annually.

 

 

 

 

 

 

FEAST OF THE HOLY GUARDIAN

Commemoration of the feast day of the Holy Guardian Angels as one of the patron saint of Santo Tomas and in honor of the name of the church, Holy Guardian Angels Parish. Celebrated every October 2 yearly.
